AI Will Replace You. Unless You Learn THIS
the AI-proof skillset
Everyone online tells you that AI is important.
And they’re right.
But I’m not here to write another post about how AI will change your life.
You’ve probably heard that message enough already.
Instead, I want to focus on a more interesting question:
What won’t AI change?
Because while AI will change a lot of things, there are also things it can’t do well. And I believe those things are where humans will keep their edge.
Jeff Bezos explained this idea perfectly:
I very frequently get the question, “What’s going to change in the next ten years?” And that is a very interesting question; it’s a very common one. I almost never get the question, “What’s not going to change in the next ten years?” And I submit to you that that second question is actually the more important of the two, because you can build a business strategy around the things that are stable in time.
In our retail business, we know that customers want low prices, and I know that’s going to be true ten years from now. They want fast delivery; they want vast selection. It’s impossible to imagine a future ten years from now where a customer comes up and says, “Jeff, I love Amazon, I just wish the prices were a little higher,” or, “I love Amazon, I just wish you’d deliver a little more slowly.” Impossible.
And so the effort we put into those things, spinning those things up, we know the energy we put into it today will still be paying off dividends for our customers ten years from now. When you have something that you know is true, even over the long term, you can afford to put a lot of energy into it.
– Jeff Bezos
His competitors focused on what would change. Which seems to make sense at first. But Jeff did something different. He focused on what wouldn’t change, and then he optimized that. He could afford to invest heavily into those things because he knew these things would still matter years later.
That’s why in this newsletter, we’ll talk about the 8 skills and traits that will become more valuable in an AI-driven world. If you master them, you’ll have an edge for a very long time. Let’s begin.

1) Authenticity
Authenticity is the quality of being genuine and real.
And by its very nature, AI can’t truly replicate this. It isn’t a real person with real experiences, emotions, struggles, opinions, and stories. At the same time, trust is declining. And as trust declines, authenticity becomes more valuable.
People don’t just want information anymore.
Google already gave them that. And now AI gives them even more of it. Instead, they want information from people they know, like, and trust. They don’t just want a solution to their problem. They want your solution.
An AI may know a lot more about your niche than you. But your fans still like and trust you more because you’re authentic, knowledgeable, and have real-world experience.
That’s the power of authenticity.
In an AI-driven world, being genuinely human becomes an even bigger advantage.
When the world becomes more artificial, you need to become more human.
Escape AI by being authentic.
2) Creativity
I never made one of my discoveries through the process of rational thinking.
― Albert Einstein
AI is excellent at rational thinking, analysis, and pattern recognition.
I frequently use it to help me understand the logic behind things that seem unclear.
But whenever I ask it to come up with truly original ideas or perspectives, it usually falls short. AI is very good at remixing existing patterns. But humans are still much better at creating genuinely new insights, perspectives, and art.
That’s because creativity isn’t just logic.
It’s intuition. Emotion. Taste. Life experience. Curiosity. Personality.
AI is trained on existing human knowledge. Which means it’s best at predicting and recombining what already exists. And while that can still be extremely useful, it’s not the same as true originality.
Creativity is about creating new things. AI is trained on old things.
Maybe this changes in the future. Or maybe I am just unable to get the most out of AI.
But for now, creativity still seems deeply human.
3) Excellence
Whenever I tell people that I write content online, their first reply is usually:
“But won’t AI replace that soon?”
My response is always the same:
“AI can’t replace excellence.”
It’s a tool. A very powerful one, but still a tool. And like every tool, it depends on how well you use it. So unless we get AGI, you probably won’t get replaced by AI. But you might get replaced by someone who uses AI better than you.
Everyone has access to the same tools. Which means the real difference comes from how effectively they’re used. The best creators will use AI for what it does well and avoid using it for what it does poorly. Just like any other tool.
AI changes what the best creators need to do.
Just like tractors changed what the best farmers needed to do.
Farmers didn’t get replaced by tractors. Farmers who refused to use tractors were replaced by farmers who used them efficiently. But even with tractors, there was still a massive difference between bad, good, and great farmers.
AI will probably be the same.
Dumb creators ignore AI
Average creators use AI poorly
Excellent creators use AI exceptionally well
You won’t get replaced by AI. But if you ignore it, you might get replaced by someone who uses AI. So learn to use it so you can operate at a higher level.
There will always be room for excellence in any field.
4) AI Prompting
Great entrepreneurs are usually great at sales and managing people.
They know what to say to get people to do what they want them to do.
In a world of humans, communication skills are very important. This will remain an important skill. But now that AI is here, you also need to know how to communicate with it. In other words, knowing how to write prompts that get you what you want.
AI is a great tool, but the quality of its outputs depends on the quality of your inputs.
Bad prompt = bad output
Good prompt = good output
Great prompt = great output
The people who know how to clearly communicate what they want will get much better results from AI than the people who don’t. So if you’re going to use AI, which you probably should, learn how to talk to it.

5) Critical Thinking
AI is a great tool. It can think critically, but it still makes mistakes.
Sometimes small ones. Sometimes big ones.
That’s why critical thinking is still extremely important.
A lot of people blindly trust what AI says. But sometimes it gives incorrect, misleading, or strange answers. It can even make very basic mistakes occasionally.
When you already know a lot about a topic, you’ll usually spot these mistakes quickly.
But when you’re using AI to learn something new, that becomes much harder.
That’s why you should always think things through for yourself.
If something sounds odd, ask AI to explain it in simple terms with evidence.
This will either clarify the issue or reveal that it made a mistake.
6) Taste
AI can give you a lot of ok stuff.
Ok videos
Ok images
Ok salespages
Ok newsletters
Ok tweets and threads
But based on my experience so far, it rarely produces anything truly exceptional.
It lacks taste.
In other words, the ability to tell what’s great and what isn’t.
Taste is deeply human and highly subjective. Sometimes you can’t fully explain why one thing feels better than another, but you still recognize the difference immediately.
AI doesn’t seem to have that ability.
That’s why I don’t use AI to write, but I do use it to critique and improve my writing.
I write the first draft myself. Then I ask AI to make it simpler, clearer, and more concise.
Some suggestions are excellent, and I use them. But many suggestions are bad.
If I implemented everything, my writing would start to feel very “AI-ish.” It would lose all emotion, personality, style, and humanity. That’s why selectively using AI will improve your writing. But if you use AI to write everything, it will make your writing worse. You won’t stand out if you only use a tool that everyone has access to.
AI is great for assistance and suggestions, but taste still seems deeply human.
7) Judgment
In an age of infinite leverage, judgment is the most important skill.
– Naval
I like this quote a lot. And I think a slightly different version perfectly applies to AI:
“In an age of AI, judgment is the most important skill.”
AI is great at doing things. Not great at knowing what to do and what to keep.
That’s why judgment matters so much.
Judgment is basically the ability to make the best decision.
So:
Knowing what to do and what to ignore
Knowing what to keep and what to remove
Knowing what to do now and what to do later
AI allows you to become more of an operator.
You decide what needs to be done and AI helps you execute it faster.
Think of AI as an extremely capable employee who still makes basic mistakes sometimes. That’s why he needs direction, oversight, and decision-making from you. You tell it what to do, how to do it, and then you improve and edit the final outputs.
The best entrepreneurs hire smart people to handle specific tasks for them.
AI can become multiple of those employees for you. But you still need to give clear instructions, review the outputs, and decide what should stay and what should go.
The person with the best judgment will make the best decisions.
And the person who makes the best decisions will win.
8) Full-Stack Humans
AI can’t replace full-stack humans.
These are people who combine many valuable skills, traits, and experiences into one person. Take Elon Musk for example. Whether you like him or not, he is irreplaceable.
Because he stacked many valuable skills together.
Every time you learn a new skill, you become more valuable and harder to copy.
Skills compound and they strengthen each other. Someone who understands psychology and sales isn’t just slightly better than the average salesperson.
Knowledge of psychology improves sales. And sales experience improves understanding of psychology.
Now imagine that this person also learns writing, speaking, marketing, AI prompting, product creation, mental mastery, investing, fitness, and peak performance.
That person becomes very difficult to compete with. And impossible to replace. Every skill makes every other skill more valuable. And on top of that, they still have their own personality, worldview, creativity, judgment, and life experiences.
That’s why full-stack humans are so powerful.
If you become a Full-Stack Human, and if you develop the skills and traits that we talked about in this newsletter, AI becomes much less of a threat. Because the more valuable skills you combine into one person, the harder you become to replace.
